Photon Gallery Vienna opened in 2013 as a branch of the main gallery in Ljubljana, Slovenia, which was founded in 2003 with the aim of presenting and promoting photo artists from Central and South-Eastern Europe. We present the works of both established artists and young emerging photographers.

Our international cooperation with various institutions, fairs, and festivals led to the broader network in the region of Central East Europe. We regularly participate in various international art fairs, especially those specialized in photography, such as Paris Photo, Photo London, Photo Basel, and others. Since its beginning in 2014, Photon has a special partner role in organizing Art Photo Budapest, a leading regional fair for photography.

At the beginning of 2020, the gallery in Vienna transformed into some kind of hybrid space under the name CLUSTER – Creative Coworking Space. Now, besides a gallery, this hybrid space includes a photo studio and a darkroom in the basement,  and a shop and a café on the first floor.
